immobiliser!!!

my immobiliser has just stopped working i cannot get the plip to de-activate it. i got in from work turned the car of went back out to it as had to be at the hospitial for a baby scan! and bloody typical it wouldnt work!

changed the batterys still no change. does any1 have any hints or tips what to look at? i dont think its the standard immobiliser. cheers

There's no immobiliser as std on a gtt...The only options are fix it or rip it out.

if you havnt got the time and the car is essential use a direct live to the aei unit yellow is live and the black is the earth i would reccomend fusing the live

wish i new that little trick before. just ended up ripping it out. as i think it was a cheap make anyway so no poin in keeping it. and dont want to have to mess about with it again.

as i nearly finally lost my last straw with the car because of the damn thing. cheers:agree:
