Well today is the day the car finally goes for its m.o.t after being worked on for the past 7 months! Took it up this morning and on the way there the steering felt solid the brakes where good and all the indicators worked!
Tbh more works on the car now than it has ever done! I even managed to fix the rear belts last night! So fingers crossed, still nervous though. :crap:

Cheers guys, Oli got to wait for it to pass the MOT then get the insurance cert then finally I can tax it. So if its here b4 weekend il pop round! :agree:

Yeh its what u get when u buy insurance :scared: as it wont go on the system straight away so wont be able to tax it online.

Il defo pop up the 'dale :laugh:. Only 5mins away, I live nr the reatil park in oldham as you come off the motoway ;) So I will take it for a blast down there.

But the car can be mot'd without a seat so long as the belt is there. :agree:

It failed mate.. I text him yesterday

Failed on rear bearings, some bushes and a wishbone.

That's what he told me. It's not too bad though - pretty striaght forward, and at least he knows there isn't much to do untill it's back on the road :)

What BriC said really! bit of a bummer really, but hey thats life. Its now booked in at the lockup I use so I wil be doing the work with a mate there. Should be sorted very soon. Il keep you all posted. :agree:

Had to fit new standard springs to get it through, but need some decent lowered one hence my thread regarding the gsf ones ;)

Im well chuffed cant wait to drive it properly! :agree:

yeah ive seen the red one knocking about around norden Richi, Ive yet to see yours though lol ;), is it off the road? Mines still goin ok, still used every day, shes just about to hit 150,000 miles lol
