Can anyone point me in the right direction of a decent valve spring compressor. Cheap as chips please. :D

cheap is a socket, a ring spanner and a hammer.

stay away from the Clarke cheap one....... it's very nasty indeed!

The clarke one is alright, Used it on mine to change the valve springs. It ain't snap on but it does the job.

i had a nightmare with mine, tough on the hands and the winder snapped.

having said that, the heads i've been stripping have been laying about for a while. thats probably part of the problem :crap:

Fair do's, Mine is the more expensive version so i take back what i said, saying that i got it for free:D

I had to give the top a whack to move the retainers though, The compressor started bending on one:laugh:
