Anyone watch the British touring cars sunday,good to see Jason plato got a drive with a team at the last minute the last race was great plato,s recovery after being nudged was fantastic driving:cool:

i watched most of the televised show.. really good.. plus been hearing loads about that 16yr girl in the single seaters...1 to watch for the future perhaps..

lol bloddy hell they aslo raced them in birmingham :cool::cool:some of the back roads they raced were realey narrow as well down by old s bends usted to be i think :laugh: and by the ice rink.
ive some relatives who live about 1 mile from where thoes races had taken part and mentioned that the superprix could be heard from her house :laugh::cool:

Good friend of the old dears that Rob Gravett chap and all round nice bloke, had some tuition off him for track and road and learnt **** loads from him, I thought I could drive with years of oval racing under my belt but it meant nothing. Took me for a hot lap round the T.R.L and from then on I could understand why drivers get paid so much.

That 1990 season was imense destroyed everyone in the field including the works Rouse cars and won the championship by a nice margin. Bring back proper rear wheel drive, tyre :smokin: monsters with enough power to destroy a nine inch diff off the start line if not carefull with no traction aids and proper gearboxes. Most of these new tourers except for the diesels are all missing one vital ingredient:)
