just make sure the wishbone is secure an you hit metal on metal,
i had a bit of timber on concrete floor an kinda secured w/b..
heat etc...an just smashed it,be careful not to damage w/b
though,lots of heat to!!!

when i did then on my old 5, it involved lots of swearing, hitting with big hammers, breaking the thread on a vice before i found the best way(for me)
heatgun, from machine mart, burn out the rubber til the middle part falls out, then get a hacksaw in there, cutting the outer part nearly all the way thru, then hit with a hammer to the middle til it splits, should come out easy then.

clean up wishbones,
get some threaded bar, washers and nuts, the press in new bushes, easy peasy

I found the best way to get mine out was a blow torch, just keep burning and burning it and eventualy it just gets so hot that it pops out, be careful tho as one of mine fired across the drive nearly hitting the car!!
