Why are they so Sh1t.?
Is it just mine? One is completely locked up! And the spare I have doesnt seems much better. Any advice I.E- How many washers for spacing etc. There are doing my nut in. :mad:

Mine were locked virtually all the time! When i stripped everything out there only appeared to be one original washer behind each belt mechanism and a paper washer i think if i remember correctly, don't know if that made any difference or not, or if this post has been any help at all?!:D

If they are still being crap by Wednesday, just remove the belts AND rear seats. If you don't have rear seats in the car, you don't need belts.. even if the car came with rear seats and belts as standard.. but you can't have rear seats without belts.

my front drivers belt is locked, its a right pain , dont half squeeze ya

Lol i tried oiling them on a lock spare, but it doesnt work, just makes a mess. :rolleyes:
Are new ones any better (if available) or is just a typical french problem?
