You need to do a bit more research that that mate

Rockingham = Premium Track like Brands/Silverstone etc
Sunday / Weekend / Summer = Premium Track TIme

Track day at Rockingham above criteria is £295 for 6 x 20 minutes with Book a Track
so that equates to £49.61 per 15 minutes so we are saving you £25.61 per 15 minutes.

So that equals massive bargain.

Chris Miller your chairman will tell you the difference between hiring Rockingham and the likes of Mallory as we have both looked at costs. Premium tracks cost 2-3 times more to hire track ESPECIALLY on a weekend.

Hope that helps.

Looks at Castle Combe Action Day 25th April - £35 for 15 minutes
Silverstone Events - £35 for 15 minutes
the list goes on.

Cheers
Mark

Just looked into Track days at Cadwell with easy track.

£89 for Monday afternoon in July billed as Open Pit. 3 x 20 minutes = £22.25 for 15 minutes.

open pit is open pit, you dont need to break it down. 89 quid gets you half a day there are no sessions , ok so prices are steeper in summer and they always put price up nearer to the event, but i think the prices at fcs are to steep for the time given.

Ok.

Taken from EasyTrack's website...

Cadwell Park (Full day) - £149. Monday 06 July 2009.

9am-12pm (3hr), 1hr lunch break, 1pm-5pm (4hr) = 7hr open pitlane (not sessions) of driving possible.

£149/7hr = £21.29 per hour on a 'premium' track at a peak time of year.

With summertime trackdays, the day can sometimes end at 6pm or even 7pm, hence that works out an even better (read less) £ per driving hours ratio.

Regardless of all that anyway, on a different note, are we now allowing non-members/traders to advertise their product(s) (or in this case, an event) willy nilly on 'General Chat'?

I'm guessing Markd should either be made an honoury member, trader status, or cough up rtoc membership like everyone else, as this can then all be posted by Mark in the correct (Events) forum.

Until there's a bit of clarification on all that, I'll lock this thread as there can't be one rule for one, one rule for another.
