roll pins are high tensil so will be hard to drill out have you used a hole punch

Have you tried moving the drive shafts about to try and realign them again?

Its not a good idea to drive with out the pin in, if you do full lock and look down at the drive shaft you can see its slipped half on and half off, so i guess with abit of hard driving and the shaft slipping on and off, i wouldnt take long till it chews the spines up!!

I wouldnt like the shaft to pop off at 70mph:eek: the first thing its going to hit when it swings round is the back off your bloke!;)

if you are really worried, push a nail into the hole and bend the ends over.

Am i right in thinking that the pin it self isnt under any stress?

there are two rubber CV boots holding that whole shaft together.... its not under that much stress.

Had bit of ,mare with mine, lined the shafts up however on oneside the hole is perfectly aligned, the other around half a spline out. Put the roll pin in with hammer, now cant get the fecker out!:crap: Have to invest in a decent punch too to get it out as it bit chewed now. So take it they aint lined up quite right then?
