I present my new project 5 to you,is a 5GTT ph2,year 1989 red 719.I buy many parts on your premise in England because in France have does not find much.

It took me 3hours of cleaning before my gearbox was anywhere near ready for paint and it came out no where near as good as that, top work fella, if you keep up that level of work it'll be amazing:agree:

i noticed that you've got some strange front arches on the front wings, is this something you've done as i've not seen them before? looks like the bottom of the rear arch mouldings have been bonded on or is it the side skirt been cut and bonded to the bottom of the arch?

I wonder if a mould could be taken of a GTT wing without the arch extension on and lay in some carbon, yeah you'd have to use the factory arch exstension but it'd still weight bugger all.

I did see this photo at the beginning but never paid much attention to it to realise the one on the right was showing the inside of the wing :ashamed: (thought it was in rough primer!)

It obviously uses a slightly different side skirt as well, can't wait to see this all painted and assembled. I assume you work in a bodyshop?

Obviously people talk about GTT handling better on 13s and 15s but 16s do look the business!:cool:

Overall diameter for popular tyres sizes below:

195/50/15 = 576mm
195/45/15 = 556.5mm

195/40/16 = 562.4mm

So you'd probably get less rub with the 195/40/16s than you would with 195/50/15s. The down side is very limited tyre sizes but, you can get Falken RT-615s in that size....

I've just checked the website and Falken do the RT615 in 205/40/16 which gives an overall diameter of 570.4mm

I love my Morettes, I think they are one style mod that actually compliments the GTT.
