Which way should the rotor arm be facing at tdc, rad or block? Totally forgotten think old age is kicking in...

Also i have just fitted the cam out of Ashy's old dd raider, what valve clearances should i be using, got them set at .20/.25 for now. Not much left on the tappets at that is this common for a hot cam.

rotor arm faces the rad @ tdc

Rad/number 1 contact.

Those clearances are fine for a 'hot' cam.

remove the dizzy. the rotor arm will be facing a notch cut out nearest the rad and slightly left iirc. you will see the cut out though in the dizzy drive gear. sorry took me a min to write that hence duplicate post.

Ideal, cheers all. I got the drive back in right, Then alzheimers kicked in :laugh:. I know i could change leads round but id like it to fire up first time:)
