This is on the raider when purchased - seems alright and does the job well

not sure about there woffle though

Stage 7 HE5 Li Competition Turbos (P078)
These feature special lightweight T25 turbine wheels running in a specially modified and re-profiled 'low clearance' turbine housings. These are C.N.C. machined in-house. Not to be confused with a re-profiled compressor housing, which is easier and cheaper to achieve. These turbos are extremely efficient in terms of power delivery. Low lag, high boost capability combined with clean and effortless power delivery. We love 'em! (100% all new parts). Used on our 12.64 and 12.9 second quarter miles.

At the moment i'll be running a T04E (T3/T4) but haven't tried it yet as car isn't running yet.

On my previous 5's i've had standard T2, T25/T28 and a VNT.

I've found some 76mm compressor wheels at work that'd suit that turbo brilliantly, with a 54.9 inducer. The only problem being the bore is too large for the T3 style shaft, so they need to be sleeved, which isn't exactly a problem, it just takes quite a bit of time to do.

Cosworth 2wd t3 in a RS turbo rear housing!

£22 from eBay 20psi every day been on car over 2 years now!

The turbos pretty lazy in the 1st and 2nd gear but once in 3rd it's good fun! And good mpg as I can cruise at 80 ish with no boost!

Yeah its only a 44trim at mo as you know with these kung fu lies.. Better if it was 60, seems to be the one to go for on civic front.. didnt know weather to go all out with a new unit tho...

Basically the compressor housing has been bored out to allow the fitment of the T3 compressor wheel, whilst the exhaust housing is a T25 .49 rear.

It is a small trim wheel, in comparison to the rear end anyway. These wheels i've found are quite similar to the one used on the GT3076R, although where as that's a 56 trim wheel, these are 52 trim. A compressor wheel upgrade would be far cheaper than swapping for another unit, unless you can go bigger for the same money:D. Plus, there's a hell of alot of meat that can be machined off those .50 a/r's supplied.

Yeah i spoke to scoff about converting this unit and yeah it would be cheaper but id like to do bearing swap too, but still works out cheaper than buying a new garret 60t style unit so it is an option ... But im thinking about going GT35 later in year :coffee::confused: for now tho just use what we have to get going.....
