Wow just ordered!! Great selection, i'll be having the oil cooler from you very soon no doubt, does the thermo sandwhich plate have the switch already fitted in it? Anything else needed with it, stupid question i know!

clee
19-03-2009, 17:55
The thermo plate does not operate a switch as such .It opens at a predetermined oil temperature allowing flow to the cooler .This is so you don't over cool the oil at start up .
We have two kits ,one is missing the sandwich plate bolt .I will get one of these to make it a complete kit asap .
I have a similar setup fitted to the GTA albiet a lot bigger matrix .Dead simple to fit .

Cheers Clee, thats what i was expecting, the cooler oil just circulates in the sandwhich plate untill it gets hot enough and then releases into the cooler? Have i got the idea :crap:

clee

:agree:
It follows the normal path until it gets hot ,then is routed through the matrix .
