Western union money transfer

Are these actually safe to use?

There's something i want to buy from china & one of the payment methods is the above.

i've heard of all the ebay scams,but is that the person at the other end? or is using western union itself a bad idea?

I would stay away.............
ALL the scams go through western as its un-traceable after it's left them....
Like a PO Box at a post office.....

i always use western union to send the wife money, ive never had any problems.

i have to give her a pass code for her to tell the clerk when she goes to collect the money, without that she cant collect it.
