carbon body parts arent that much. if you sent the part to China, they can copy it in carbon if you wanted, but they usually require a minimum quantity and you gotta think of chipping back to the UK, which a couple of years ago was £500 for a container. bonnets were about £280 for nissan 200Sx's....

Dont go there with insurance, renewed mine today. They said because I valued my car above 5k they will only go full com. Cheapest they can do is 600 thats without a agreed value, which im not sure whats the point insuring it that high then :confused: they said they can charge me just under 1k and they will cover me for track and agreed value. So decided to so value of 4999 and TPFT, got agreed value now and its half the price.

Probably the most I've spent in one go is 1k, on Avo coilovers/ a front mount intercooler and other odds and sods, Tbh when I was a couple of years younger and starting to earn alright money I quite regularly blew £300 or so a week on new panals/ paint/ seats/ etc.
I've wised up a bit now though, and would rather do things on the cheap regarding the car.
