Is it just like a stiffer spring?

why would there be one port less?

Why do I need an uprated actuator?
An uprated actuator is used to increase boost pressure and turbo response.
Our uprated actuator works, by increasing the spring preload, which holds the wastegate flap closed, the spring is twice the rate of the standard actuator.
The wastegate valve will usually start to open around half the spring pressure of the actuator, this is called wastegate creep. With a std actuator the wastegate starts to open from as low as 3 psi losng valuable boost response, The uprated version will not creep till 6 psi.
