What is this club coming to?!

The following pictures show the progress of a lowering a 30mm drop. Unfortunately I don't know what make the springs are, i just bought them off flea-bay :crap:

That was my car about 5 years ago. Lord knows where it is now, I think it had been totalled the last time I heard.

 It was a genuine question - I thought it was, but I wasn't 100% sure. It is the same style as is on my campus. Pretty crap, but looks better than a campus grille.

wouldnt 50mm springs cause shocks to bottom out.? i have koni yellows on mine and would like to get the front to sit lower, but info on the koni website states that they advise 30mm at max.

also adam, what size wheels are they with the 50mm springs fitted?

if you use o.e shocks then 50mm is to low you will lose damping as piston in shock have very little travel left saying that my springs were on o.e shocks for a couple of years. The wheels are 16" with a 37mm off set they fit fine with no body mods:agree:

Not sure buddy, there blue and look about 30mm down any ideas? Ive seen some on ebay that are ment to be 55mm down. Waiting on a price to refurb the coilovers tho but its looking to be quite pricey.

Have you tried looking on the Koni website. I got in touch with a company in Newbury called raceline suspension, got hold of them through the Koni website, and they wanted £120 a side to refurb and change my Koni yellows into coilovers? I didnt think that was too bad?

once upon a time i tryed some 50mm lowering springs on the front of my camparse but the springs were 300lb jobbeys and made to front end way to high . basicaly when i put it back on the floor the srings were so stiff/strong there was no drop, so i opteted for some slightly softer ones and got it to sit just right
