Now that would be hip..., still wouldnt look as retro i bet though, unless they kept the original lines , now that would be:smokin:

Surely just a marketing tool, they already have the renault sport mark, what exactly will be the difference between a clio RS and Clio Gordini? I suppose ford have done it with the ST and RS:crap:

you know they will just do another clio v6 change the body styling and maybe tweek the engine to get another 10 bhp.

im quite excited by the prospect
i find the renault sport twingo a bit of a let down on the spec.
i chose the twingo gt over the sport.

Got to admit though it was for the turbo.

they have the twingo and megane gt turbo.

The twinogs not exactly a performance machine, but it still has some pull on it

Couldn't agree more regarding the wheels and tailgate badge.

But I think it looks good!

That looks bloody brilliant from the back/side.

Not sure about the front.

Pretty sure when the five was very first launched it divided opinion and was even at one point considered a womans car:laugh::cooter:

The fact it divides opinion can only be a good thing from Renaults point of view, no point in jumping on the already jumped on retro band wagon;)

I'm not all that keen but i suspect it may well grow on me once they start hitting the roads, Renault need to re invent themselves in this country and maybe this is the car to do it with, providing they release a fire breathing turbo version of course:D

Copy of the first image in the thread... I just think that looks great. Rear arch, angle of the tailgate, rear light clusters. V cool IMO. I can imagine a beefed up rear-engined version very easily... :D

Yeah rear engined job would be amazing. supercharged or turbo charged.

Nice and laggy ;) that won't happen lol.

I think it looks amazing. As soon as a turbo version is announced ill look at finances. If it actually looks like that when its rolling off the production line.
