Anyone ever chopped a take off i.e dump valve from a silicone hose and resealed????? What did ya use to reseal???

No..........that'd be a silly thing to do :sad2:
I once owned a GTA that had Borg style main boost hoses .Loads of shrink tape,bonded in jubilee clips and such patching the pipes ....
Don't chop it off, just plug the hole with a bung .

dont know about that bud, seems alot to faff around with when you can simply plug the dv take off and be done with it:agree:

True but the hose is going somewhere else and would look rather odd with the take off plugged

why dont you just use a joiner,or samco do
that new sealing tape.

By combining the two pads in the centre, it can now cope with upto 30psi..
