I am back dating this thead so i have my full project on one thread. including any helpful links to "threads" i have started and ideas.

The day after i got car.

I got car to fix myself and learn.

After a week i joined rtoc, after hearing about site by friend who borght asheys old raider, and feck its a good job this sites here as it, has helped me no end:worship:

But before i knew anything i was out driving a round in a car with a fecked dump valve ! the radiator was fecked :crap: crapy old leaky pipes and it ran hot all the time until started leaking water round underneth the manifolds.

After 2 months i knew enough to think about working on an engine for the first time BY doing the head gasket my self, so was reading thru old rtoc for a good while, by the time i relised where to start to make my car reliable. for use everyday.

Lost my old project thead when server went down, time to rebuild what i started on the old on the new :) lol.

on rebuilding i relised alot of my pipes were showing signs of age :scared: so i sorted some new pipes. i rang around and got ripped by ktec in the end.
and sharpy17t sold me some cheap also look like this ;)

Then wanted some standard speedlines so swaped my crapolla wheels with my mate who only just got the cheap white gtt with mint wheels mmm :D

Good to hear you are enjoying it mate.Ive had mine since about august and it puts a smile on my face every time im in it and im sure it always will.Even at slow speed i just love everything about it.Had my fair share of litte problems aswell but nothing bad apart from a recent knock which was my own fault and isnt bad.

Will have to meet you soon when im back on the road or give me a PM if you are through my way.

On the exhaust side of things i have got from having

To having a side exit which is my perfered choice, just need a down pipe to match and the elbow enlargeing.

I sold the 4" scopion exhaust i didnt like it. i still had my mint 3" scorpion from my old r9 turbo project, fitted and this is how my car is today.

Needs a good clean after the oil dipstick got pull out by a pipe on the wrong angle :(

no what happened is my home made oil pressure set up had a flaw and rubed into something until it leaked.

The adapter the go's into oil feed has now got a 90''bend adapter so pipe gose over the engine without fouling on anything :) will upload a pic ...

what to update thead and dont know where to start.

- sorted oil leak and gauge.

- brand new oe starter moter.

- 2 Brand new rear calipers pads ,disc's

- new engine mounts

- compression test good @ 161 psi.

New poster! (less than 10 posts)

Need to dust her off and get her a fresh engine built, got three engines all work or worked. I have one in bits for some reason. one in my car with a bad rattle/knock the other in corner of garage from when I striped a full working one I got cheap.

l have not a clue who will be able rebuild an engine supplying parts to a decent reliable spec ideas anyone? contact detail or link for and company's please ?

my idea is i I could just deliver my car and the collect with car trailer paying a bill rather than trying to do it all with my limited time, space, tools and knowhow :scratch:
