All,

Some of you know had a few problems with DET/Fuel starvation with my cup, racing it next week and pretty sure i've got the problem licked, just want to check I haven't missed any fundamentals...

Fuelling:
Setup at track and road - AFR 11.85 at 15psi at carb top
Phase 1 fuel pump, new filter
Large diameter internal fuel lines
FSE regulator - flows a litre of fuel at carb top in 25 seconds (off boost)
Fuel pressure gauge - monitors pressure at carb - on boost +4/6psi over boost level
Tank baffled with lots of fuel foam.
(would love an AFR - but rebuild has skinted me)..

Engine:
Cam timing checked
Clearances checked
Compression ratio is factory
Comp test is 150 across all 4 with +/- 3psi variation
Advance is 4deg as cup spec
Checked AEI module is retarding under boost with timing light.
No boost leaks
No coolant leaks

Think that about covers everything... if theres something you think i've missed would appreciate any comments.

Efficient intercooler?

c/r defo 7.9?

Why did you increase the size of the fuel lines? I'd be keeping a beady eye on that fuel pressure gauge if you're giving it lengthy periods of w.o.t

cup spec one... using optimax fuel, comp ratio def standard.

old lines were on way out, changed to aeroquip braided internally run lines, partially for safety as run internally can't get damaged if you end up in the gravel etc... internal diameter approx 8mm so not much bigger..

are you isolated from those fuel lines?

Nope, but they are the metal braided aeroquip hose - spec as per blue book, so fine to run through drivers compartment..
