steering column bushs

iv got a bit of play in my steering wheel, and after driving my other car i figure somethings not quit right.. now iv read this

now iv done the uj joint at the bottom which had gone and improved it.. but theres still some play. iv looked at the top joint and it looks like a solid joint(no rubber) but after reading the artical it kinda says there are bushs.. can some1 clear this up for me.. before i strip it down.. or just explain things a little bit simpler.. im simple lol:rolleyes:

inside your outer steering column, you have ruber bushes with your steering column shaft runing thru these bushes ;)

just a few big polo type ring bushes i think :)
