Thinking of getting a carbon bonnet. For the people who have got one are they any good? do they line up ok on the original brackets ok? :)
not exactly....
alittle hammering was involved, and you have to adjust the two plastic screws at the edge of the bonnet next to the bottom of the window.....
but they are alot lighter than standard.
also note there is no bonnet stay attached.

every gay-tec one i've seen has the same 'warp' on the N/S wing panel gap

You ain't kidding mine, ain't even close to fitting properly even after 3 hours of tweaking the braket 1mm, check it, nope, tweak it another 1mm, check it nope

Think that has just convinced me to look out for a louvered bonnet instead!:)

There's nothin wrong with carbon bonnets, just K-tec's carbon bonnets
