flywheel ring gear

i have a flywheel but the ring gear is not on 100% straight and it catches on the block, would it be possible to remove the ring gear and refit it on striaght as its a lightend flywheel and i would like to use it.

heat it up with a blow torch and tap it on with a hammer....

lovely stuff, i will take it to work and have a try. has anyone else had a problem with ring gear moving.
im not sure how it happend, i bought the flywheel second hand went to fit it and found it had moved.

just incase anyone needs to swap the ring gear this is how i did mine. to remove the ring tap it off with a hammer and screwdriver working your way round untill its free.
to refit it, put the flywheel in the freezer for a few hours and heat the ring gear up till its very hot. place the ring gear on the floor or a suitable bench then place the flywheel onto it quickly and evenly. it will all sit together tightly afterwards and job done.
