5 turbo sideskirt clip pic

i bought new clips from renault but they dont look like the old ones, can someone post a pic of what is on the renault 5, the new ones i got look wider and i dont think will hold the sideskirts on right. cheers.

dont forget the oe side skirt clips mount on a rivet on the sill so if you havent got the rivets mounted on the car the oe clips wont fit

You mean the black almost heart shaped clips? if so they are ok, new ones are a tight sqeeze. Or do you mean the rivets... if so they always look to small untill you rivet them in.

removing an fitting sideskirts on a gtt is a real hold your breath moment... its gonna be a clean effort or shatter to sh1t:cry:

thats the ones ive got goody...only problem is i see a few of the holders on the sideskirt are broke..got to make something up to help.

good old bob at cgb has some simple hangers made up that you bond to the skirts.. cost a few quid but worth a look:)

i re fiber glassed some of my side skirts but dont put it on the face that comes into contact with the clips or it will stick out do it from underneith were the clips mount it that makes any sense haha :scared:

when i did my sills i just made simmilar clips to the ones cgb sell from the steel i used to replace some inner sill.
