Idle Jet

Hey guys, forever from wha i can remember the car has idled fine but every now and then miss a beat on idle. Ive been told its a small piece missing from the idle jet ,has any one a clue what im talking about. Ive searched the boards and cant found nout.
At the minute my idle jet is made up of a brass screw, rubber seal and the jet itself.
