Can anyone recommend an easy to use software programe that will let me design my own house.?
i think ive found a software programe HERE (http://www.homedesignersoftware.com/products/homedesigner/) but would like some other suggestions.
it doesnt have to be high tech.

I find Paint forks a treat.

Try and download trial version of autocad Raj, simple enough if you can join lines together.
Take it you want it for plans?
Could also try google sketch up as its free, but i hate it lol

Yeah I agree, Google Sketchup would be your best bet. The UI seems to be pretty intuitive and there are lots of tutorials online. Ive never used it but the architects at my last job had no 3d training and would all use it. Ive always used 3d Studio Max but Sketchup seems good for extruding shapes and generating mass models before going into details. It appears to be a relatively quick workflow.

Saying that though there is loads of tutorials for virtually all software packages so what ever you choice you will find support.
