im trying to remove my front hub nuts with no luck. i have been using punches and bolts to stop the disc from spinning but everything i use either snaps or bends.
and ideas on what i can use to stop the disc spinning?

Easier to loosen the nut with the car/wheels on the floor, providing of course that you can get access to the nut through the centre of your alloys.

Get somebody to press the brake pedal. Best off doing it with wheel on though.

as mentioned break pedal on and a nice socket and bar set so you can get a decent leverage on it.

there are no calipers on the car and the ones that were fitted are fubard. went to fit new calipers last night only to find the car has oversize discs:laugh:. cant even refit the old calipers as the brake lines are bone dry due to 2 metal lines snapping when i went to fit my braided hoses. it was a long old night putting that lot right :).
