had a road trip to london from s.wales on monday ,all started
well untill i heard the annoying rumble from driver side rear wheel after
crossing the severn bridge . got progressively worse as i kept going .
knowing i had almost a full set of tools including a trolley jack in the
boot ,i did not worry much , pulled in to chippenham and got a new
bearing from the local factors called APD .

found a garage on the way to m4 and asked them if they could
press in the new bearing if i hand them the disc in the next 20mins .
they have done it for the pricely sum of 20quid
thanks to that , stuck the disc back on and i was back on the road in no time :)
still though 20 quid for a 5 min job sucks :disagree:

£20 doesn't seem that harsh.

Probably bumped up the price when they heard the welsh accent

Fromt the title i thought someone might of put your car on bricks.

£20 is very good price for that service.......

it wasn't booked in .....if they had said £40 or £50 you may have well paid just to get on the road again...

you did well sorting the job out though, 10 out of 10 for that
