my dogs just gone and knocked me cup o tea over my laptop and its now fecked:cry:

its a dell 1330 xps and only last week i extended the warranty to 2 more yrs.

i phoned dell to get it sorted only to be told that accidental isnt covered:mad:

now they want £300 all in to repair it :eek: they say they will just be replacing the motherboard.

£300 sounds a bloody lot to me. and im thinking i may try and fit it myself?? ive had the laptop apart before and have also seen a dell technician take it apart and put it back together within 30mins and that was also for a motherboard which was faulty.

are dell part available to buy? or do they come only if you use them to carry out the work.?

oh and im obviously not using the laptop now:D im on me bros apple tiger which is abit weird:scratch:

i dont know:confused: unsure if there are actually any decent laptops for the same price? what will £300 get me compared to my 1330 xps.?
thing is i really like how quick this dell is on the net, even comparing it to my bros apple tiger that im using at the mo which cost a stupid amount.
