what size are the 3 nuts that hold the rocker cover on, and what pitch thread i am missing one.

Not sure about the thread mate, they are 13mm nuts though.

paul are these the same sh1tty thin type that come in the meillor gasket set?
i have some fitted to mine which are about 0.5cm thick!

I had a set of these about 3-4 months ago and they are about 3-4mm thick and are white in colour alot better than the crappy Meillor jobbies

I got so tired of the fibre washers on mine screwing up and leakiing everytime i removed the rocker cover, i have replaced them with some tap washers bored out to m8 and repair washers to keep them from warping, not very pretty but soooo much better than the standard stuff and infinately re-useable :D

no, they are the proper jobs....most of which , even over 20 years on are still NOT leaking
