If possible has anyone here fitted a screamer pipe on a c1j? Watched a vid of Andy Cooke's and it sounds like it has one, might be wrong though.

I have seen one fitted to a five/c1j, it had a huge t3/t4 turbo if i remember correctly:eek:

never got to hear it in action unfortunatly:scared:

I'm using a T25 Hybrid at the moment so not sure if it's possible to fit one.

It is possible but the turbo will require the wastegate to be plugged, the exhaust manifold will also require fabrication to mount the external wastegate.

I'm in the process of having a manifold made up with a proper take off for an external waste gate, then on goes a screamer pipe:D

LampsR5

what does that support link (welded to the washer under the 13mm nut) connect to at the other end ? the bulk head ?

LampsR5

yeah, because when it got hot, it would weaken the weld and fall off (the pipe) so we created a metal sleeve and then fitted the bar, only prob is i need to get a rubber piece for the bulk side as it can vibrate and make a loud noise, either that or get the bar connected to a different part of the engine maybe gearbox..?

LampsR5

its not welded btw the bar is just bolted on, put loctite on the nut so it doesnt come off

ok, but the engine moves on its mounts and the bulkhead does not, so your putting a lot of strain on that link. I thought that would be obvious, or maybe I'm not understanding what you mean, sorry. ?

either way any support link wants bolting to the engine or gearbox.
