I'm in the middle of removing my manifolds to replace the gasket and I can't gt to the nuts between the two. does anyone have any tricks 'n tips for getting the blitters out?
I'm doing it with the engine in the car.
jack the car up and lie under the car. you can reach past the side of the starter motor to get to them.

I use a slim 13mm socket and extension and fit it between the manifolds, that should get to them.
I've only ever done it 2 ways, 1 with the head off and 2 with my efi manifold, took 20mins to get it off, drill out and replace a sensor and refit:D gotta love EFI

Go on, rub it in
I tried with the socket and extension but its too bulky to get in there.
I'll sweep the snow away so i can jack it up tomorrow and try it that way.
Cheers guys.

I made it back from the snow. I've shoveled the snow away so I hope I can try again tomorrow.
After I gave up I decided to give the carb a clean, I didn't think it was a bad effort for a brush and some wire wool
