New poster! (less than 10 posts)
Well after a debacle over finding out how to join full time, ive just joined the club as a paid up member...never thought id be on here but at FCS 07 rtoc nat day i liked how the club looked and was organised. At the time i had my blue 106 xsi which i worshipped and at first didnt really feel much about the 5's.
October 08 and after too much crap with the 106 replacing this and that i fancied a change and when my bro offered me his 5 (as hes brought alex's) i thought why not :D 3300 pound later ...two words....unfooking believeable is what i now think of these little pocket rockets in general after driving it for the first time in november.
Heres a few piccys and the spec/new parts from what i can remember along with some new alloys/tyres i treated her to:
Spec: GT2056 roller bearing turbo
Side exit exhaust
screamer pipe (the fun part)
reconditioned/rebuilt head
twin core intercooler
alloy boost pipes to alloy carb top
new water pump
new belts
new oil filter/ turbo oil filter
Racespec aluminium radiator
lowered on koni coil overs
yellow fogs/headlights
Speedline Compomotive II's
4x Yoko s-drive's - although dont really think much of these in the wet
have also fitted clear indicators as i dont like the orange ones
