I think renault still have stock, but it's a 1 piece design and over £100.:crap:

Isn't it just an electric wire. I found that the joint by the bulkhead is duff just replace it with a block connector. If you plan to bin it nothing to loose.

So turns out I'm having a right blunder.

My Coupe is due to go to the local registering body on Wednesday and I need a working speedo. This weekend I resolved to take the speedo cable from my OE 5 to put in the cup car, just to get it through the test. What an absolute beeatch of a job. Guess what, it doesn't work. Further investigation shows that there is no jockey wheel in the coupe gearbox; presumably not put back in when the gearbox was rebuilt. So allot of time wasted for nothin and now neither car has a working speedo!

I am now looking at installing a digital speedo just to get the car through the test. Can't be GPS run, has to be off the wheel or prop shaft. Has anyone any experience with this ....?

Although I've no experience of it myself some folks have mounted a pole wheel to the driveshaft
And driven the speedo from that

exactly oz used to have a abs similar ring for speedo and then the pickup goes near ring think you need valver hub though
