Hi all

As you may have seen from my previous posts asking for help, im having a fair bit of work done on my 5, i now need to buy some gauges, mainly AFR and boost.
Ive been having a look at the various different types and the different places and ways to mount them, ive seen a few LCD ones like this :

http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motorsport/air-fuel-ratio-meters/dynojet-wideband-2-with-lcd-display-combination-kit

Would this or similar ones work for an old car like the 5, or are they designed for newer electronic ECU cars?
I just thought rather than messing with 2 or 3 seperate gauges i could do it all in one?

Cheers

Jay

Jay you need to go here:- http://www.efi-parts.co.uk/

Speak to Chris and tell him RTOC sent you. He also does the club discount!! Have a look at the zeitronix stuff. Excellent quality and function. You will have to mount compatible sensors though so some modifications will be required.

Is there another way of contacting him? I have been trying to get hold of them for weeks?

As you're in Wirral, you could go to his unit I guess. Provided he's not taking some holiday time away.

IIRC, years ago he'd be there after 11am and worked late.

Email is best I'm led to believe.

I think he's just flat out and get shit tons of emails a day, many from kids asking if they can map a corsa 1.2 for 300bhp.. those people stand in the way of him reading genuine emails.

Id just go in and order the zt-2 and extra wiring/sensors, if you add a note asking what you need to know he'll get back to you although that is a little backwards.
