Repaint colour???

If you were to repaint, what colour is favoured other than red???

Do you mean favoured by classic car collectors who will pay the biggest money for a 5GTT?

Personally some meta flake and some iridescence would be fun. Are these cars still about fun though or just about the appreciating resale value and making them as standard as can be.

I'd stick with whatever colour the car was originally painted to be honest. If not how about Renaultsport liquid yellow?

Electric blue seems to be one of the rarest, but I think people only like them because there wasn't many of them. Having a car painted the same colour doesn't quite have the same appeal to it.

I quite like the yellow they had in Spain etc... Never seen one in the UK that colour.

Yes I have seen that colour, looks nice, I think the Skoda RS also comes in that too...

It must be considered that a 5 a a small car and painting it anything lairy just looks chav!:scared: I'm not against non OE colours, but they should be reasonably subtle. A variation on the OE colours could work well, giving a different twist on the original theme. :agree:

EDIT - the exception might be the Renault Liquid yellow. My EDC is painted in it and its a fantastic colour. The 5 might just be able to pull it off providing everything else is standard?

I quite like the OE red, I have already had the engine bay and underside of bonnet done so I think I will keep it as it is.... The next question is, do you go for an OE finish like from factory or a modern paint finish ????
