Yeah thats been for sale for a few weeks or so. It looks fantastic and I think the price is reasonable for what it is, I bet it's in suberb fettle being a Mark Fish car as well.

One thing that niggles at me though......... as it's been reshelled does that not mean its lost some of its "cup" precedence? I mean I know a cup shell is no different to any other GTT shell but as such the car has little racing history now?

That Coupe badge is probably worth the asking price on its own

I follow you on the provenance point. Apparently it did have a few races after being re shelled but not strictly the original "car". I guess the question is would you rather have a beaten up shell with provenance or spanking new one with only a little. I think my own view is it depends on the weight of the races you re getting your provenance from. I think I'd probably take the new shell but imagine I may be in the minority' here !

For some I'm sure the lack of race history would be an issue, I personally think it's fantastic and would set up the future owner for many years of historical racing.

I would happily own that instead of an o.e example of the same price. Who cares about history!!

Would it be possible to Road register it?
