Renault 5 GT every have a original alarm?

Hey just got hold of a Shell and a few bits . In a bag i have found a complete Renault alarm with original plip/fob i will add a picture tomo. But i can not find any info on line or even a Renault alarm for that matter any idea?

There was an OEM alarm available back in the day. I still have mine in the R5, and I
turn it on with a switch marked with a fog light. If it does get stolen, the thief won't
have a clue on how to turn it off, but will be advertising its theft very loudly every
300 yards!

I took it to a garage in Norfolk, with a view of trading it in for a Mk1 Laguna. The
salesman insisted he took it out by himself. It was obvious from half a mile away
he'd been pressing buttons he shouldn't. I just shrugged my shoulders and smiled.

Raider had factory fit alarm.
The "factory fit" done in Southampton. The French don't do alarms apparently. I had
a 2 day delay on my Coupé for alarm to be fitted :)

Sig, that looks quite different to the after market kit that dealers offered. If the plip
works easily, then it does have some value.

How sure are you Sig that this alarm actually came out of the 5 shell that you bought? Maybe it's from a different Renault??

Alarm upgrade were available from renault, i have one new in a box.
They worked in conjunction with the plip central locking

I am not sure that's is why I was asking as I can not find any info or pictures online just wanted to see if anyone else had.
Seems to me to be 90% most likely off a gt5 so thanks for the info people.I will try some how to test with fob/plip.
If it holds any value might sell to put to the restore.
Do not want to bin it if it might have value :laugh:
if any one else knows any more on it or might want it let me know.
