Just driven past the garage that is doing my welding and found my un-taxed, un-mot'd 5 left in an on road parking space. Just to make matters worse its opposite the local nick! The guy promised it would be locked up and off road but the knob jockey hasnt done either! Will i get towed/fined!?

Thinks i will be collecting it and taking it else where to get the work done, hes had it since yesterday and done f all with it.....apart from potentially getting it towed! :mad:

F*cK a duck, i would get the car away from there asap....

Also worth poppin into the old bill station and letting them know you intend to drive the car home & is that ok?.... unless you get it towed... at your cost but try and claim it back from the garage.

never leave your car in a garage overnight ,unless its ur own .

Or what you could do, is go down there and take the car home. Then let old Bobby No-Brains phone you and explain how your car's gone missing from his secure unit!

Id well be kicking off over that... If they not even bothered where they leave cars over night etc think what they are like with there work.... i guess **** also... get it back....

That happened to me too once, I left my 5 with a garage for a tune-up and specifically told them I didn't want it left outside due to area, tax etc.....That night I drove past and saw it outside on the road. I stopped and went to make sure all was secure guess what they'd left it open. So I locked it went back in the morning and ripped the living hell out of them walked behind the counter took my keys and drove off without even paying :mad:

i would have moved it straight away but they have the only set of keys! I should be ok the police station closes at 8 i think and im hoping the local beat will be too busy with the occupancy of yates' to notice!

Shall be retrieving the 5 1st thing though and taking my business elsewhere!
