Rear tailgate

Can anyone advise on how to adjust rear tailgate?
I have no gap at the top where it meets the roof line.
I have tried to adjust but doesn't work.

I could be wrong but I don't think there is much, if any, adjustment. I think its a case of bending the hinges which I wouldn't do with it on the car in case you distort the roof. That's what we did with mine which was sitting too high.

Is it a donor tailgate?

All you need to do is file out the holes on the tailgate hinges really.

Clean up any seam sealer and go from there its the only option until you start some minor fabrication on current hinges
or something you are happy with to get that gap.
