View Full Version : 5 gtt setup check Hertfordshire area?
So just bought a 5 GTT and need a setup check. Fueling Boost etc. Mostly standard spec wise.
Who should I be talking to in the Herts Beds Bucks area that knows these cars and engines well?
Thanks

Highly recommend Chris at efi parts www.efiparts.co.uk .Tell him rtoc have sent you. He has full rolling road set up. Also if it's a quick check and adjust, you could try Markey Mark. He's a member on here too. http://www.rtoc.org/boards/member.php?79-Markey-Mark-(BD)

Best way is to learn yourself. Plenty of articles on here and clued up members to help.

First bit of advice if you haven't already done so is purchase in AFR gauge as without it setting up fuelling will be complete guesswork.
Been to see Marky Mark. Top fella quickly identified a breather issue allowing to much air through.
Reset idle mixture and speed.
Test drive revealed down on boost. Actuator looks old and the spring has gone weak.
Will get a new actuator and go see Mark again and get setup to a 1bar.
So big thanks to Mark.
