Number of posts?

It could be me, but how can I set so I have posts from the last few weeks/months etc? Ive tried under settings to no avail.

Sorry to have to bring you the bad news but you're some way from the top.

James5 is top with 5860. That's all the stats log says. I didn't find a better log in the control panel with a very brief look.
Found these:
Dale, 5658
Trev, 5595.
Me, 5331.

Not sure what you mean? I meant when I go to the boards I would like to see posts from the last few weeks/month instead of last 24hrs.

Tick 'posts' in the 'search type' section of the page

Then in the 'additional options' section there is a drop down that has a default set to 'any date'. Set that to whatever you want (i.e. 'a week ago'), leave everything else as-is and simply click 'search now' at the bottom.

I did ask for a direct button/link for something similar when the site went live but didn't chase too hard after all Mick's hard work :D

I think 'new posts' gives you everything that's new since your last visit but not sure it's fully reliable...

I need to revive this as its now quite a problem for me. I also feel that members are going to be greeted with a blank screen due to inactivity on posts from the last 24 hours etc.

Mick, is there any way we can have a button to expand that allows filtering of posts from last 2hrs/week/month/year? I want to be able to be able to see lots of posts and not just 1 or 2 that have had a response on.

No, I noticed it too a few weeks ago as, for about the first time with this new forum, there were more than 10 new posts since I'd last looked.
