I had to weld a couple of small plates in but nothing too much.

Good job! question! how did you remove the bush arm from the bar? looking at how it goes into the arm did you 'smash' it off? the metal sleeve goes into the arm pretty tight right? brute force?

Basically brute force/whatever works! It was seized pretty solid and I ended up smacking it with a lump hammer with the aid of a chisel.
