Hello. I have a set fitted on my 5 but car not on the road yet, anyway i have 4 pot brakes fitted and one of the wheels rubs on the caliper but the other does not. I measured the thickness of the inner part of the wheel and its different and why its rubbing. I also looked at my rear wheels and something looks different there. Did they make different ones or something?:confused:

Thanks for any help.

try one of the rear wheels........maybe the rubbing wheel has been machined or is an aftermarket type!

Either upload the pics to an album folder in your profile and then copy the link in this thread, or upload to photobucket (or similar) and do the same. There is an 'insert image' button you can use, where you paste the pic's link and it will display them directly in this thread.

Hi Gary, So for the delay, attached are the pic's that you sent me

I can see what you mean about the alloys inners being quiet different wonder if they are from different production year's? as on a std 19 they wouldn't need to worry about calliper clearance with a 15" alloy

you should be able to sort with 5 or 10mm spacers......cheap enough.......

Had same issue many years ago, different batches of r19 had slightly different offset, i fitted 3mm spacers on front to sort the issue.

Lucky I have 2 of each wheel so just need to swap them round.

Weird. So they are both 6.5j (i.e. 6.5" wide), but have different offsets? Are the offsets not stamped on the wheels?

One wheel has nice crisp lettering for wheel size ect but the other you can't really read it. I will check the offsets.
