Hey
Car going in next week for a bit of a service well the dirty jobs, could do with you help.

oil change so whats the best oil to use?
Oil filter/air filter standard and where best to get from?
what Gear box oil?

And i am going to get them to bleed my brakes also what the correct/best brake fluid to replace.
I would also like to know on this if i should pass on any info to the garage on best way to bleed the brakes. Is there any better way other than what the manual says.

Thanks all :):):):agree:

Oil - something like Mobil1 15W50 or Castrol RS 10W60 is suitable. Don't touch anything that's 0W40 as it's too thin. You will need 2.6 litres
Oil filter - RTOC shop (actually, you'll have to check stock), if none: http://www.gt-turbo-spares.co.uk/cart/index.php?cmd=category&cat_id=13
Brake fluid - DOT4 is the advice I was given due to the age/design of the brake system on the GTT
Gearbox oil - 75-90s 3.4 litres
Air filter - http://www.gt-turbo-spares.co.uk/cart/index.php?cmd=category&cat_id=13

Thanks for the help :agree:
Just had oil done ect was a problem with bleeding the brakes. Rear Caliper nipples are snapped what's the best way to get this sorted without buying new Calipers.
Thanks :)

Oh dear. If you can't drill them out and replace them (not many people succeed at this), then it's either new calipers, or the bleeding will have to be done from the end of the flexi pipe (i.e. you might get a very small amount of air in the caliper itself.
