Just fitted a new one to my GT......lasted 25 years all the same!! and wasn't that difficult either.Has anyone found out how Renault garages set them up as in pressure gauges and weights.....anyone with a Renault workshop manual?

Btw, it could be some time. I wasn't suggesting you ought to wait Michael :D

I think I've seen some threads in the past where this was covered (although not the Renault workshop method, more of a 'the holes in the valve need to be wide open when fully laden'). I've not had a search. Sometimes these things are hidden in resto threads which can make it difficult to find. :(

Problem being is depends on how low the car is set to how much you need to turn it by. Like said I am in the process of loading these up, done by document so far which I am in the process of merging them together so will be 1 file to access for this.

Thanks Trev and Good work Dale,i've looked through about 6 threads.....but no info.....
mine is std height but the twr or tsw whatever!! valve probably isn't original so i just put it in at the same setting......anyway when its posted i'll give it a go!:)

Will be a TRW valve, should be GPV1028.
