c1j gearbox options

Hi!

so, soon i will be starting up a new project, ill be using a C1j, however I was wondering what gearboxes fit them other then the oe one.

been looking for a box for a little while and am struggling a bit so im open to any other suggestions?

i'm not after anything to complicated, just a straight fit really, had a little search but couldn't find any info on it.

I remember ages ago someone saying a a particular clio one fits? i could be making that up though haha.

the clio jc5 fits which we have fitted but has a cable speedo drive instead boss

ahh i think thats the one im thinking of,

pardon my naivety but how have you got around the speedo issue?

also, im assuming you can use the "c1j" shafts and the tdc sensor fits alright?

Yeah, phase 1 clio 172 box fits no issues. :)

yes ive got to do it yet but theres 2 ways

1. fit clio mk1 speedo in turbo dash needs modding
2. fit a ring on the driftshaft and put gearbox pickup above for signal
