do you think we should start a thread that lists what items are NOT available from Renault or other suppliers (GSF etc etc) anymore?

so if it were possible enterprising members could maybe get them made or copied.

obviously the towing eye cover should start it off.... :(

that link is for the mk1 r5 grille.

Beevers dont do any mk2 r5 turbo grilles. - they are all N/A ones listed/pictured.

i think it might have been the spanish or french gt turbo club had some ph1 gt turbo grilles made. - but this was years ago.

got me thinking now, ive got a minty fresh ph1 grill just lying around.
i know a guy that makes carbon fibre body panels so i might have a word to see what he can do. im sure i asked him about something not too long ago and he was telling me how thin stuff will have a tendency to warp/buckle during the vucume process. i didnt follow it up so ive got no idea what he was talking about.:rolleyes:

I couldn't order front bumper blanking plate in Croatia. "RenaultGTturbo" sing for the rear too. Don't know situation in UK tho...

I have not been able to get hold of PhI front fogs for a while now and alot of the water pipes are NA now. OEM Feul pump relays.

I dont think there's anything you can do. Renault are long overdue on producing/supplying parts by law (7 years iirc - correct me if im wrong).

Your only options are bespoke or maybe finding the company in Brazil/Indea that produce the R5 replicas for certian parts.

IThe only choice is pre fab stuff, or the likes of GSF step in and hound the manufacturers who make copy parts.:(

you can get most plastic and metal parts copied in China, however, they usually require a minimum amount to be made. we would have to think carefully, as there are only 3000 gtt's in the UK. so we would have to either see if the European GTT owners clubs have had stuff made, or get them made and sell them across the whole of Europe to the other clubs.

GSF step in and hound the manufacturers .:(

this wouldnt happen. GSF would not view this as a viable business proposition due to the amount of potential customers.
