Hello

I was wonderin what the right offset and width of wheel in a 15 is perfect for the R5GTT S2, also is the PCD 100mm????

PCD is wheel stud configuration? If yes than you're correct. It is 4x100. Central bore is 60.1mm.

Best setup... It depends from driver to driver. If you are using 195/45/15 than 7J is right width. IMO best ET is 30-35.

You can run a lower offset than that. ET15-20ish on a 7J no bother. It will make your car look less gay. It will also increase track so the car will be slightly more stable.

T.K. I agree but on lowered car (50mm approx) tire will rub arch from time to time especially if one person is sitting in the back.

It's very easy to tweak the rear wheel arch spats so this doesn't happen. :agree:

Alternatively, get rid of the rear seats!

Think that they will be on the edge. I have ET42 and have spacers 16mm rear and 20mm front (car is down approx 60mm) and everything is fine. :agree:

What way does the ET go??? Meanin is the lower the number closer to the hub or further away. If the best offset is 30-35 on the car then what one of these sizes will a get from dubmeister

Bigger the ET, more the wheel is closer to the hub. What size you should get? Hmmm... It deepens how low your car is, how many people drive in your car and what size of the tires you are after.

If you get ET37 the wheels would be little bit inside, to much under the arch and if you get 195/50/15 you will probably have some rubbing noise under full left or right. If you go for ET28 than 195/50/15 could cause rubbing at the back if car is down 40mm or more.

My suggestion is that you go for 195/45/15 and ET28.

It's a Renault 5. Logic went out of the window a long time ago. :agree:

So an effective offset of ET26 rear and ET22 front. The ET28s will clear fine I think.

It's so easy to take a bit of material off the spats and find yourself an extra 10mm. I actually spaced my spats out in the end, so I can run 8J ET6, with the car way way way down (4 fingers at the sump).

Good strategy. But than again, spats become fragile as a glass especially at the rear :crap:

It all depends how thick your fingers are :cartman:

It was 195/45/15 I was gona go for and a wana have the car sittin pretty low, so that the rear arch is just at the top of the alloy. It will maybe have 1 or 2 people in the back but not to mnay buddahs.

Al purchase the ET28 ones then :)

Any of you used 195/45/16 on your GTT. Have opportunity to get 16s with such tires. Gonna use it for rolling down the street only but still wanna know can they fit under standard arches and droped car...
