First post!

Just thought ad pop in and say hi, just started this as a just bought a Greg GTT. Is that a phase 1 or 2???

Anyway, I am a vauxhall man really but wanted a change. So bought a car av really wanted since a was younger.

The GTT a bought was on ebay, its from way up north like me!! Inverness, anyone on here from ness??? Well its a Greg GTT, 87k loads of recipts some mods, KTEC intercooler dumper etc

Av already bought (all from KTEC) gaz coilovers, clear front indicators, speedline turinin wheels, KTEC stainless zorst and KTEC 4pot brake set up.:D

Av ast them for a quote on a rebuild and to put out about 220bhp but still waitin on a answer!

Al post up pics once am home from offshore!

Is the car a raider or not, a thought raiders hade blue interior????

Welcome to RTOC, it is a phase 2 renault 5 and it is a raider. Somebody has changed the seats to the red coloured ones for some reason

Does it say Raider on the logbook??

If not, its not a raider... looks pretty good tho.

As for 220bhp and k-tec.... put it this way, save your money for now...

Look around the boards, learn alot and you will soon get a more genuine 220bhp than you would from K-Tec for alot less of a price :-)

Tbh i always find 180bhp is perfect setup for these little cars...

What did a raider have over a standard GTT???? Am gona have alot of fun with it, hope it beats my 2.2 16v corsa!! :D:D

a 1.7 twin turbo engine ;)

Raider blue paint, Raider sticker on rear window, Raider door pillar badges, no side stickers, blue fleck seats, black parcel shelf, no red trim on door pockets, black carpet, alarm ??, different radio ??. 500 built in 1989 and 500 built in 1990.

oh and std phase 1 was 115bhp and std phase 2 was 120bhp iirc

Not likely to find raider alloys for sale easily. best thing is to find standard alloys and paint them blue, plus can refurb them whilst you are doing that.

Al try get a set of the standard wheels then get them painted, but am really wantin the the Rondal wheels, do they even make them anymore????:confused:

u mean ronal turbos mate, yes they still do them new i think, google it;) nice wheels but as the raider is a limted edition i'd get hold of all the std stuff if u can aswell, then should hold its value well:cool:

I heard you can only get the golf fitment now rather than for the renault 5, unless im thinking of another alloy wheel

can get them in et 38 4x100 7j from dubmeister mate, should fit the r5 with a bit of persuading on the old centre bores;)
